I upgraded my grandson's phone from a BlackBerry to a Samsung Galaxy SIII, automatically assuming that the BIS would fall away, since he would now be using a Samsung. The Consultant who did the upgrade failed to inform me that the onus was on me to cancel the BIS monthly charge. When, after four months I noticed that I was still being charged for a service that was not required, I called the Call Centre and met with total disdain and disinterest when I tried to have the charges reversed! I was told quite plainly that it was up to me to cancel the BIS, only nobody bothered to tell me when I did the upgrade. This is poor service and not something that I could possibly have assumed!! A simple run-through of procedures would have been the order of the day! I am totally disgruntled and wonder why I wasn't told that the BIS would be carried over to the SAMSUNG??? Huh? Doesn't make sense at all!!! I want these charges reversed - end of!
