MTN Claim no stock of laptop

MTN have advertised as Packard Bell Easynote i5 Laptop in their latest Yello Deals with a 500MB data contract for R199 per month. I have been calling all around since monday last week enquiring about this deal but no one seems to have any stock. I have spoken to 5 franchise stores, 2 MTN direct stores and MTN Direct head office with no luck. I have left my name and details with a few of these stores and still haven't received any feedback.

I have been calling every day since monday last week and get told every day that I must phone tomorrow or the day after. I have even been told to contact their marketing department who were not able to help me.

How is it possible that not even MTN Direct head office has stock? If they knew that there was a problem with stock availability they should not have advertised it, because all of the stores I called had not even received stock since the deal started.

I have 2 existing cellphone contracts with MTN (which are both due for upgrade at the end of February) and after receiving such pathetic service from MTN I will rather take my business elsewhere.

At this point I do not want anything further to do with MTN.
