I purchased an Internet 5 promo contract some two weeks ago. I wanted to activate an 8ta email address but was told by the call centre attendant that the server is down. They promised to call me back - it did not happen. I called again - same story. And again - more of the same and no email as yet for the server is still down. Phoned billing today and was told that I'll have to pay a cancelation fee if I wish to cancell the contract even though they're not addressing the problem. Went on their chat service earlier today. Got response to a point and then ignored. When I purchased the contract the shop attendant said I must buy Outlook before the email can be activated. I paid R 1100 for it just to be told by call centre that 8ta does not support outlook and that it should not be used. I have been calling and hoping things will be sorted but sadly, all I get is promises, actually for a promise not kept is nothing but a lie. When will 8 ta show some integrity and when can we expect men and woman of character to be employed as the people working there is either born liars or trained to to us - the paying customers.
