We applied for a DSL line at Telkom in the first week of January. The previous owners used them and we were told that the line only needs to be activated and that it can take 7-21 days.

Firstly they pitched at our home 3 weeks later without notifying us in advance and due to the fact that we were at work we couldn't open up for them in time so they moved our appointment to months time.

Then when they arrived the second time they installed the wrong product and refused to fix it immediately and said that we should just contact Telkom.

Today I went to Telkom to apply for an upgrade to a DSL line (more than 4 weeks have passed) and the lady working at the desk told me that I need to learn 'patience'.

This is absolutely unacceptable and no paying client should have to deal with service like this.
