When taking out a contract with CellC, migrating my wife's number from MTN to CellC, I was assured that my home would have network coverage. This was not the case. We are unable to make calls or use data. Straight after taking out the account I complained to an agent at a CellC store about the poor coverage and was told that following the big network 'upgrade' scheduled for November 2013 everything should be fine. We were patient and waited. Not the case.
I have subsequently contacted CellC on multiple occasions, sent through multiple network coverage forms and have been promised that a technician would be sent to test coverage. The last time I was promised that a technician would come through was on 23/01/2014. I phoned again today to check on the status only to be told that they have no record of my request.

I have just gone through the whole process of explaining to yet another agent what the problem is, how long its been going on for and where I live (what is the value of RICA if you don't know where I live?)
So now it seems as if I am tied into a 24 month contract that we are unable to use from a company who seem incapable, incompetent or unwilling to assist.
