Sim changed, phone changed - same network problems

I would like to express my anger at Cell C for fooling me into believing that doing a SIM swap would alleviate my network connectivity issues. I have been with Cell C since inception and had to part with my old SIM after Ramadan. I have been experiencing quite a number of connectivity issues no matter where I went. In short, I was told to do a Sim swap for years now so, thinking that since I got a new phone that was the only logical thing left to do - BOY was I wrong!!! Seems after the SIM swap, my calls were not coming through but sms's were... I left it overnight expecting that the background changes still need to take effect - it being a new SIM and all. To my horror, I am sitting with the exact issues; if not worse. I now feel like walking into a store and behaving like an Irate customer but, i value people and have a great RESPECT for what they do - even if they work for the company dropping the ball. All I need is to know why when it is of Highest importance, the network drops me. I can be sitting right next to someone also on Cell C and still not get their msg's - how is this possible? Can they not trace the issue via my number? What can I do to HELP?
