I've been battling with my online MTN Active profile for ages and even complained about it on Hellopeter. After empty promises from MTN that they've resolved the issue (which they hadn't), I tried again today, unsuccessfully, to re-register my profile. I had to call 1761 and got through a great guy called Wiseman. He actually did what he said he would and deactivated my old profiles, AND he called me back as he said he would. My MTN Active profile is now working, for which I'm very grateful, but not my Loyalty one. Wiseman tried to transfer me to someone else who, sadly, didn't have the interest on know-how to assist me with my 141 Loyalty set up on MTN. So, that's another battle I'll have to fight until I get through to someone like Wiseman who's interested in helping a customer. So Wiseman, well done, and keep up the good work!! If MTN employed more people like you there might actually be hope that the call centre can turn into something useful and successful. Thank you for all your help - you're a star!
