Wrong info given - Not willing to fix THEIR mistak

Hi there.

My wife took a contract with Cell C in Menlyn. We were looking to get the Samsung 4s Mini on the Straight Up 100, but the sales person (Patrick) said she only qualifies for the Top Up type contract. I specifically asked him if this was the same amount of sms'es, free minutes/airtime and DATA. He promised us thats its the same, only difference is when the airtime is finished, we need to re load. We took the phone and about a week after, the data ran out. My wife phoned the call center, and they said she's only got 100 Mb of data, not the promised 300 Mb. We went back to the Menlyn branch, and spoke to Patrick. He denied everything and said WE didnt understand what he said - BUT HE SAID YOU GET THE SAME AMOUNT OF DATA - I especially enquirered about that. He never got back to us with a solution, or even an apology. This is very unprofessional, and its against the Consumer Act!!! I spoke to the Manager - cant recall her name - she never came back to me with anything.

I always thought Cell C was good, but this experience has turned me against them and I will never recommend anyone to make use of their services.
