6 people not assisting to change sim in BB

After 5 days, and 6 people nobody can assist me in putting my sim card in my husbands old Blackberry, the phone can receive calls, but no Blackberry internet service.

I personally think Vodacom has to many customers, and doesn't care that we pay for this service that has not been active for the past month.

I have phoned the call centre, did a wipe on the phone, checked all the settings, registered on host routing, waited 24 hours, were informed by another that the phone is offline on the network, then the network person said the problem is not with him, but with the handset!!! Is there anybody in Vodacom who can assist? Why do we pay for a service that is not working?
