Vodacom without skills to fix phone

I own a Blackberry phone on contract. For most of this complaint it was on warranty, now it it out of warranty. My Blackberry phone presented a fault of restarting intermittently, as well as not displaying the correct battery charge state. I took the phone in, and it was booked in for repairs, I was told it would take 2 weeks. 3 weeks in I called to check on its status, and was told it had been waiting for me for 10 days, but the store and automated SMS service did not contact me.

I picked up the phone, and noted that the battery was flat, and so, I could not test it in the store. I took it home, and charged it, and it restarted within 10 minutes. The same fault. The "repair" listed on the job card was "software upgrade".

I took it back in, and asked that it be charged when I picked it up. THREE weeks later, it was "repaired" with a "software upgrade". It was not charged. It of course is still broken, and presenting the same fault. Except, now it is out of warranty, and if I want it to be looked at for the THIRD TIME, I will have to pay for the privilege.

I have wasted my time, my money, and I am very angry with this apparently incompetent company.
