Unauthorized deduction

A deduction on my Vodacom account of close to R 400 was allowed for some subscription that I never made by a company WASPA that I have never heard from. On looking up WASPA on Hello Peter I noticed that there were some 23 pages of complaints for similar actions. I have challanged Vodacom to provide me with details which they could not do and they are now taking the matter up with WASPA to try and recover my money.

Fact is that I never gave permission for any such deduction and I did not subscribe to any service, the same as with all the other complainants.

If Vodacom is willing to allow some unknown dodgy company to collect money on my behalf without confirmation from me. it should be their problem not mine, they need to refund me, as they deducted the money.

From the complaints is is obvious that WASPA do not do any refunds without a hassle. That should not be my problem.

Vodacom should refund me, make sure that I am unsubscribed and not allow their service to be a channel for for such abuse. IT IS THEIR PROBLEM NOT MINE
