Unacceptable service to loyal customers

I have been with Cell C for 5-6 years and have 2 contracts with them. I decided to open another contract with them on 07 January, to surprise my husband with a new phone. I call Cell C direct and the guy that assisted me said that everything was approved And I would received phone in 5-7 working days. Today I called to follow up as this has exceeded the time period giving to me only to find that it was declined. He did not mention anything about another approval process and no one bothered to let me know what was going on. I demand a proper explanation and as discussed with the guy I want the contract opened and phone delivered. How many times will they over customers that have remained with them, it's really sad!
