Automatically and illegally taking money

My wifes cell phone bill has been extremely high over the past few months.
We were away in December and she hardly used the handset, yet we were billed excessive amounts during that period. This alerted us to the fact that something is wrong and on careful inspection we found that my wife has been added to a R7 per day subscription service.
I have phoned Mira Networks and they state that my wife did subscribe to the "Vaaloo" service and that they sent her an sms stating such. My wife did not subscribe to this service and she NEVER received any sms indicating that she has been subscribed to aforementioned service.
Mira have stated that they will send me proof of such but I have still not received any of the promised documentation. I would like our money to be returned but failing that, please will everyone watch out for these people.
