Over for being a crime victim

On 30 Dec 2012, a couple of friends and myself were the victims of an armed while on a hike. During the incident my cellphone was taken - I lost with it files, all contacts, everything.
I filed an insurance claim with Autopage and my claim was successful and I was informed that I could pick a new phone up at Sandton branch. That was towards the beginning of January.
About a week later, I went to Sandton to collect my new phone only to be told that they didn't have stock of it and that they were waiting for stock.
I asked them to contact me when a new phone was available and they said they would. I am still waiting. Phoneless and struggling. I have suggested that they take the cost of the new phone and credit me that amount towards an upgrade on my contract, but they won't do it because "it's an insurance claim".
I have been with Autopage since about 2001 and for this loyalty, this is the treatment I have received. Victimised for being a victim. Thanks a lot.
I will be moving providers as soon as I possibly can. I would suggest that anyone else out there looking for a provider consider someone other than these people...
