I phoned in early December to let Telkom know I was moving so I would need to have my line moved to the new place. After trying to contact them numerous times about a date, I only received the first call on the 10th of Jan to just set up an appointment! How does it take a month to just make an appointment? Now because of a delay to just book a date, I can only be helped on the 10th of Feb? I am now essentially paying for two months of NO service while still having to fork out money on temporary alternative internet solutions. Telkom lines and connection are great, but the second you need any help or want anything done, you will wait months to be acknowledged! Get your act together, I will be looking for alternatives to Telkom after this (and many other unpleasant experiences when I needed Telkom to fix things!)
