On 17 Dec 2013 I opened an Eita contract at their outlet located at the Bridge mall in PE. Until that point I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for approximately 15 years, however Eita was offering a deal which I could not refuse. I specified in my contract that my debit order date must be the 25th every month, and the assistant (I think her name is Mandisa) confirmed this. To my disappointment I received a sms from Eita on 10 Jan 2014 stating that my debit order date is the 15th and that an amount was due. I obviously did not budget for this, and when I called Eita to enquire, they simply said there was nothing they could do and that they would make the change as from February onwards. I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional, which appears to be a lame attempt at hiding the glaring incompetence of some of their employees. I have never had this experience with Vodacom before. Eita, please recruit competent people as a matter of urgency and I suggest that you introduce customer service training to your employees.
