Telkom direct stores have no cordless phones

I have been going to Telkom direct stores (at N1 City and Canal Walk) for three weeks (since mid December) to purchase a cordless phone for home use. I saw the cordless phone set on the Telkomsa site with a price indicated (R989). When I tried to purchase it online a message popped up saying that you have to go to a Direct Store. When I did go to the stores I was told that they are out of stock and would be getting stock in the first week of January 2014. Needless to say, they still don't have stock. At N1 Direct Store I was told that they don't sell phones for landlines anymore, only mobiles (this was not a mobile only store!). I called 10210 and asked if this was true and I was told that they should have phones. I need to buy a cordless phone on my account asap. My 13 year old telkom cordless phone is dying. Thanks
