Vodacom insurance refuses to pay for a phon

The phone was in the car and it was without any forceful entry or damage in the car, but the insurance insist on providing proof of damage even though I explained to them. The case was opened at Nelspruit Police station and the affidavit was prepared with a case number and they were provided to Vodacom insurance as the proof to validate the crime but all invain. Peter please help.
