About 3 weeks ago my father and I added a new contract to our already 3 contracts at Vodacom Springs. We were told that the contract option we are taking comes with a free gift. We decided to take the skull candy headphones and were told that no stock was available. Thandeka informed us that she would contact my father when they received stock of the headphones.

Its been almost three weeks and we decided that we would go back to see if they had stock as we had not been contacted in any way. We arrived and were told that they did not have any stock AGAIN. We confronted Thendeka why she had not called us to inform when they received stock.

Her response was that she did indeed contacted us some time ago, but only tried phoning once and there was no answer. She did NOT however phoned again. I asked why did she not make a point to phone again and was told that she phoned us as a good gesture and that it was not her responsibility to let us know. We had to check on them every few days if they had stock.

How can this be the responsibility of the client? Why didn't the manager check stock levels to make sure they would not run out of stock again and cause inconvenience to clients?
