Call centre not answering their phones!!

This is the THIRD time in the space of three weeks that I have waited for 10 minutes for an answer by the call centre. Since I am calling from another cellphone on another network (my MTN SIM card is in my tablet), holding for longer than 10 minutes is very expensive, and I have terminated the call each time without an answer. When I went into an MTN store, I was told that the call centre is very busy in this period and that there are not enough operators. Now why MTN, should this be the customer's problem?
This is not acceptable, and makes me glad that I switched to another network for my primary cell number.
