Altech Blackberry repair/replace deadlock

This is a further report following previous efforts at having my phone repaired.

After driving through to Autopage in Midrand I am now in posession of a letter reading as follows: "Client was here, I did advise him that I will book the phone in for repairs and it will take 4 to 6 weeks or I can give him an invoice and he can take it directly to MTN for the handset to be repaired quicker".

Cancelling the contract will cost R3000.

I think it is fair to say that the people at Altech has no intention of honouring its side of our agreement.

I cannot recommend them.
