I recently had network issues from Vodacom for an entire week (28 Nov - 5 Dec)
I had upgraded during July 2013 whilst abroad. Upon my return (Nov 2013), Vodacom failed to identify and resolve sim-swop issues. I heard every possible excuse. I sat with a consultant from Somerset-West Walk-in CC for 4- 6 hours a day on the phone, being referred to every possible dept within Vodacom, only to return to where we started - Vodacom Customer Care.
This ultimately lasted a whole week, whilst on a business trip to Cape Town. I could not conclude any business, I spent all the time, money and effort to be in CT (I'm from Mpumalanga) - just to spend my time with this nonsense.
The 'pass-the-bucket' mentality within Vodacom gives me the impression that only a select few truly know what they are doing.
I expect serious attention to this matter from Vodacom
