DATA - CUSTOMER PROTECTION FAILS

I have had my account with Autopage for over 10 years. In 3 months (July, Oct, Nov) my data bundles (2 data cards) ran up a cumulative bill of over R25000 and we cannot figure it out dispite 2 techies doing virus checks and finding nothing! I queried. Network says I'm liable for chgs. I instructed Autopage to separate the accounts so we can see what's causing the problem in the first place. I also instructed them in writing to cap my data use. This was not done. Their SMS notification for excessive data use was not triggered. Now my telephony & data lines suspended and I've lost business as a result. The Customer Act is there to protect us from this lack of service. I wonder if someone at Altech will really respond to this as all I hear is... sorry sir you must pay after spending a total of 5 days calling, driving and writing to these people. I'm sick of unaccountable service as they control the power in this sickening contract relationship... abusive nature makes me hate the experience for what has been over a decade of generally good customer service provider partnership. To protect my company I laid a charge of data with police. I have nothing more to say.
