Pathetic excuse for a company!

I live in an area that constantly undergoes power failures (I know that is an eskom problem), however when eskom manage to get their acts together and the power returns, I am always left without a working adsl line. Over the past 3 months I have called telkom over 30 times, a process that fills me with dread for a couple of reasons. Firstly, your hold music is the most anger building I have ever had to listen to. I'm going to take a wild guess that the majority of your calls are complaints, and that you deal with a lot of people, who like myself are outraged by your pathetic service. A little hint - no music is better then the we have to endure. Secondly, WHY do I continuously have to call you to 'fix' a service I am paying you for. Pretty sure this is how it works - I pay you (the supplier) a monthly fee, for that monthly fee, I (The customer) should be receiving a service (a working adsl line). I can't quite comprehend why I need to, in essence, do your job for you AND still pay not only my monthly fee but then also my cell phone bill, which is exorbitant, due to the countless minutes I spend, once again, listening to your soul destroying hold music. FIX IT!
