I was recently turned away from Mtn, due to my sony cell having liquid damaged. They referred me to sony directly to take up my issue with them. I have my cell for over 6 months and have used it with no hassles regarding water.the one day I chose to demonstrate the phones ability to water resistant the phone gets damaged due to liquid breaching the phones flaps as the sony repair centre tells me. This was my reasoning for bringing the phone in, due to the liquid seeping in even though laps were closed and sealed. Sonys repair centre feedback to me is that I should call sony directly as they have given there diagnosis. When I contacted sony, as per ref 1-991765129 they advised me that its my fault AND A SORRY.
I cannot believe there is no level of accountability with regards to this incident and im just be, with no recourse. No one can help me, sony just washes their hands of any assistance. I cannot believe there is no action plan for such an expensive device. Surely, Sony should listen to the customer that's saying, theirs a flaw and that somethings wrong.
