On 2013-12-03 round about between 14:00 and 15:00, I tried to do a sim swop after exchanging from a Lumia 610 cell phone to a BlackBerry cell phone. I contacted the call center according to instructions only to manually contact the center on 173, - Security question (1) how much airtime was last purchased, (2) when did you purchase it, and (3) what money plan is being used. (4) what number was dialed last.
REALLY - who keeps track when on pay as you go and purchase airtime on and off, can you always precisely remember when you bought it, and can you always remember last person dialed, as also I have never heard of a money plan.
Anyhow I could not answer these stupid questions, and so know i'm sitting without cell contact because I had to go to the cop station to lay down a affidavit stating it is my number wow! Really what happened to asking you your ID Nr and address, things of importance to assist you.
These MTN guys should really try to be more of assistance, I have been a MTN Client for roughly 30 yrs now, and this is how a client is treated... I phoned in and they apparently did not even get receive or look at the sent faxed affidavit yet. and my business is being layed back
