False Advertising "high speed ADSL lines"

I am so mad with Telkom who advertise lines speeds that they cannot supply. Our exchange is rated at 10Mbps (according to the Telkom site) - I signed up for a 4mb line and the BEST speed i get is 0.87Mbps. Telkoms attitude is "well ADSL is a best effort service" but they are quick to take money for the higher speed that they cannot supply. When the techie checked the line, there is congestion at the exchange, with no spare capacity, the hardware (DSLAM) is faulty but they have no spares, yet I bet the execs at Telkom will get HUGE bonuses this year but the paying customer must just live with this service -but they wont buy spares, or expand for the growth. This is so typical of this monopolistic company that could not care about their customers. It' s no wonder a news item recently headlined as " Telkom - our customers hate us" so true, and with this kind of service and attitude they wonder why... What about the news item whereTelkom bragged about doubling all line speeds by Christmas??? and false advertising
