Phone Returned Not working anymore

This matter has been back and forth with Mtn, contract taken out in April 2013, phone started having problems in August, was then taken to Morningside. Consultant documented that my phone need software upgrade. phone will be sent to technicians instructed to remove sim &memory card. phone is returned a week later it does not even switch on. I personally take the phone to Midrand High Volume center, at the centre stood outside for more than 45Mins being told that they are closed and trading hours display 13:00 and i was there at 12:20 eventually a supervisor says i can come in a Indian gent from books my phone in. Post that i was called being told my phone is water damage and i insist that the phone be taken to the manufacture Sony SA. as when the phone was handed in it was in a working condition. the phone was returned to MTN SP Morningside. Up until this point i am stuck with a phone that doesn't work but was handed in a working condition just a software upgrade, MTN has been quiet about the matter. I am tired of big corporations taking advantage of individuals. I also manage a corporation of 14200 employees.
This cannot be tolerated i have communicated with the New age newspape
