More than a month ago I was robbed & lost my cellphone in the process. I never got a chance to swap my old number:0735460134 as we were preparing for a funeral at home. On wed the 13th I called the call-centre for a simswap & I spoke with an Andile who told me I got the security questions wrong. I called in & spoke with Favorite who told me the same, I then requested to speak to a manager & she refused. After fighting with her for more than 5mins she gave the phone to Cabangile who said she was a manager. She told the same thing & said they would not activate my number. She then asked me to send an Affidavit & a certified I/D Copy which I faxed to: 0119125099 on the 17/11/13. I called in & spoke with Andile & he asid my number would be active after 2-24 hrs. 48hrs passed & nothing happened, I called & spoke with Nonhlanhla who said she was "ESCALATING" my query & was sending an email to all concerned. It was Tue the 19/11/13 when this was "ESCALATED" & I still don't have my number. I have been using this number since 2005 & my bank notifications & cellphone banking are linked to this number. I have jog applications which I gave this number. No one seems to take ownership!!!
