I was excited to order a new contract phone from Vodacom. I am an loyal existing customer. I ordered a Blackberry Q5 with a battery back up as an accessory. My husband would use the phone and I would pay the contract. I ordered on Thursday 21 November and the advert stated SAME NEXT DAY FREE DELIVERY!!! Well the phone was not delivered and I made peace with it to wait until Monday. I tracked the waybill on Monday and the parcel was still not even consigned. I phoned Vodacom and they said the battery pack is out of stock. NO ACCESSORIES AVAILABLE.Apparantly stock would only come maybe in first week of December?? AFTER I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THE LADY ON THURSDAY AND SHE CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAVE THE ACCESSORIES I WANT IN STOCK.Now this was what upset me. I had to have the phone before Wednesday as my husband is leaving town and will be away for 3 weeks. She didn't even care if I cancelled the contract. She cancelled my accessories and the phone would be delivered hopefully before Wednesday.
I am actually quite upset as I am loosing the accessory. I want Vodacom to apologize and when they received their back stock I also want the accessory to be send to me, as they initially said it is in stock.
