Porting without permission

The same thing seems to have happened to me as this report - https:///cell-c/complaints/porting-without-consent-and-unwanted-costs-1099425
I received an SMS at 09:58 yesterday saying "Thank you for your request to port to Cell C... To cancel this request, please call 0847678287". Partially due to being half-asleep after a night-shift, partially due to thinking this is a, I ignored it. Lo and behold at 19:03 followed another SMS "Thank you for giving us your details for RICA. You have successfully registered with Cell C..."
I have no doubt lost all my MTN airtime, bundles, and loyalty points; I have no convenient means of telecommunication (I certainly cannot use my work telephone to make personal calls). I never gave my permission for this to happen, nor did I supply RICA details.
Cell C, please sort this out now.
