Vodacom
Vodacom outlets are a crime against humanity

I recently decided to try a different mobile service provider and, for my sins, decided to go with Vodacom (largely because I have an existing contract with them and I thought the red-tape admin and general cp would be curtailed).

Sadly, getting some attention in virtually any of their outlets in Greenstone mall (there are three) proves to be virtually impossible. When, eventually, one of the supernumerary drones deigns to come down from their tower of apathy to assist you, you are met with blank, slack jawed, thinly veiled contempt. If there was some real competition in the industry, as opposed to the present cartel, all of the current batch of service providers would be out of business within a year.

Why is it necessary to make something that should be quick and painless such a loathsome experience? I challenge any of the senior management at Vodacom to try to take out a contract in any of the Greenstone outlets and find differently.
