Poor Customer Service in retaining contracts

I am currently due for an upgrade on my existing contract and would like to upgrade my contract phone from a blackberry to an IPhone 5. After browsing around with the various service providers, I established that Cell C offers the best deal in town.
I then contacted the eastgate branch requesting if they can offer me the same package as Cell C and was told to contact there retentions department which I did.
I discussed the issue at hand with a Mogale Mafato as was told thast they not prepared to offer the same package.
I then was told that the package if R479.00 per month over 24 months for an IPhone 5 16G yet on there website the contract stipulates R429.00 per month over 24 months for same phone.
Having 2 contracts with MTN I feel that they only reflect customers as numbers and are willing to go the extra mile in assisting clients who are the back bone of the organisation.
