Bad customer care

I wanted to change ISP, and opted for Afrihost after a lot of research, and reading on forums about the quality of the line speeds etc.
My choice was between Afrihost and Web Africa, and I chose Afrihost without any doubt, because of all the positive feedback. I just wanted to clear out a couple of things before signing up.
I phoned their customer care 3 times on the 30th of October 2013, and I held the line on all three occasions for at least 20 minutes. Then I tried the call back service, and nobody even tried to contact me.
On the 31st, I did exactly the same as on the 30th, and even sent 3 call back sms's to a number they provide. NO RESPONSE.
Clearly you do not want to do business with me.
That is what I call pathetic customer care service, and I immediately changed my mind after this incident.
I truly wanted to sign up then and there, but could not even reach someone to talk to, to actually sign up.
What would happen if I have a problem? Just ignore your customers?
