I went to upgrade my 8ta contract last week Sunday at the store. I selected a Samsung S4 mini, and also completed paperwork for a simple R119 per month data contract. I heard nothing until the following Wed when I got hold of Michele, who advised that I had been declined for the data contract, and that my normal contract was suspended. They also had not yet received stock.
I queried this with the call centre, as I do not currently use the contract, but the debit order goes through each month. The call centre advised this was an error several customers had experienced, and that my account was up to date. Nonetheless, I had to forward proof of the last debit order to her!
I did this, and received confirmation it was resolved. I advised Michele at Clearwater, who was still waiting for stock and had to do a sim swop or something for the new contract.
Today I eventually got through to the store, having tried all morning with only a ringing phone as answer. The feedback - still no stock. I find this completely unacceptable - stock was promised last Tuesday, then last Wednesday, then last Friday, now today, and still nothing. Please can someone resolve asap.
