Account is not closed. Website channels not useful

We requested Telkom to terminate our account as the property was sold. We completed forms, submitted copies of ID etc. The house was sold, the new owner moved in and installed a different Telkom line.

This was all done at the end of July 2013. We are now 3 months later, and Telkom still bills the account, and now started to charge interest for unpaid amounts (for line leasing, in-house extension etc) on the line that physically does not exist, cannot, and is not being used any more. As I mentioned, we have requested through the channels indicated by Telkom to close the account.

We tried to e-mail Telkom, create a dispute online or escalate the issue via the Telkom website. All of these methods have not yielded any results.

This is extremely poor service and very frustrating.

If anyone from Telkom is reading this. PLEASE, help us resolve this.
