I have been trying to get MTN to contact me since the 18th of January.
All my emails get the same response: We will contact you within 10 days. But that never do.
Calling the company gets the same response: Gareth will call you tomorrow: But he never does.
Gareth is either the busiest or the worst employee in history.
The calls are logged by people who just don't give a about their customers or they are just plain liars.
I have complained more than once on this site, sent them emails and contacted the number they supplied, but not one single person will even bother to call me back.
Not even the embarrassment of being slated here on Hellopeter has any effect on this company, they simply don't care.
The reception is so bad at my house I have to drive down the road to make or receive phone phone calls. And data reception? Don't even bother.
When I took out my two year contract with MTN, I was assured that I had decent reception in my area of Halfway Gardens in Midrand. They to me from the beginning.
I urge anyone who is thinking of using this so called "service provider" to reconsider.
They make Telkom look world class
