On 26Sept13 I signed up for a new contract with 8ta/TelkomMobile (TM) on condition that I port in my number. My "port in" nightmare was only starting! TM blamed CellC for the "port in" problem as they struggled to bypass the verification process. Alhough several calls were logged by TM store staff for the technical dept to assist, none of these calls were attended to. Some were even closed "solved". Between the tech dept and TM, staff members were pussyfooting around for 2 weeks, not knowing what to do / how to port in my number.

On 12Oct I had no other choice to report the bad customer service to TMs Customer Care. On 14Oct, I started liaising with Rochelle Botha.

My CellC number was eventually ported in on the evening of 21st. I inserted my TM sim only to find that I cannot receive calls, have no data allocated (this contract has a 5GB data package incl).

Its now 23 October 2013 and still no service. Can somebody from Telkom plse assist me to get it resolved TODAY. What frustrates me is the sentence "let me email the branch / technical dept to sort this out for you". The delays this cause is unprofessional / bad service. Please phone the dept / branch and revert back2me.
