Poor reception of late

I live in Da Gama Park, Simon's Town 7975

So the story goes, I have a prepaid 8ta sim which i converted to a data sim. I use it to play online games mostly. I am not roaming on MTN's backbone, I am using Telkom's Network. For 5 months I have had no problems. Great speed and great latency

The last 4- 5 days the 3G reception has particularly poor, my phone loses its 3G signal completely until i restart the phone, 5 minutes of downloading and it cuts out again. The problems seems to be occurring after 5pm... Intermittently signal drops and high latency. Is this possibly due to a congested tower?

I am frustrated because I am paying for data bundles which i cannot use.

Is there a way to check what can be causing the problem? Please advise?
