Not properly advised on Neotel purchase

I purchased a Neotel handset on the 6/1. No signal, calls made/received kept dropping. Next Monday, after 20 min. with the call center, I was advised to visit Neotel. The Neotel super. told us that my area had no coverage, handset was weak, the desktop phone was ideal - had built in antennae. Advised I exchange the phone, pay the diff. Visited the store on the 22/1, consultant Rosetta was very unhelpful & quite annoyed. Waited a while for the mngr to return, phone had to be returned to Neotel, exchange would take 7 days. Queried about the air time loaded & if I could retain sim. Rosetta took down my number and was going to call the next day. No call - so I dropped in when at the mall again on the w/end, 26/1.She couldn't remember anything about my query! Was there three days earlier but her 'brain' was a blank. Spoke to the assist. mngr, who finally found the phone sitting in the store room. He tried to cover up but was stumped when questioned with the facts. We were so disgusted with the attitudes, I asked for a refund instead of the exchange. The assist. mngr didn't have authority & it could be done on Mon 28/1, diarised he was going to call. It's now Tues, no call or refund yet!
