Debit my account twice

I received an sms about my account being in arrears - this on Thursday 10 October 2013.
I immediately made contact to find out what went wrong - the problem was addressed (I received a new credit card and the debit did not go through).
After confirming the new details I requested that the debit be run on the day.

In the 10 years I have been with CellC I have NEVER not paid my account - yes, you can check it out!!!

I was called later the same day by the accounts department and eventually cut the call as the lady was rude and it annoys me that I had already made contact and resolved the issue.
I called again on Friday to confirm that the instruction had been carried out to debit and I would not have further issues.
And then I found on Saturday, 12 October 2013, that my account had been debited twice.

I made contact on Monday (email below) and received a call on Wednesday only, advising that you will keep the money for the next bill...

no!!
You had NO RIGHT to take two debits and should have checked that the instruction had already been actioned before debiting again.

I now have to wait 48 - 72 hours for this then that... I want my money back with interest!!
