IMPOSSIBLE to cancel

I spent a "good" week on the phone with Cell C call center people who could not help me cancel my contract. And after assisting one department upload documentation they are suppose to know how to find, I was finally told my contract would be cancelled as long as my final lump amount (R4300) was paid and final debit of R565 was taken of. Today I called to make sure that my contract was no more, not only did I find out that it was still active but that I would also be liable to pay for this month (October). This is totally unacceptable and I refuse to pay. I'd block the debit order but that would punish my credit record. Guys please sort me out.

Your service is so much better when one is taking a contract, barely took 15 mins and now when I need to cancel I need to move mountains???
