Tired of being harased for a closed account

I have terminated my account with Nashua in July already, received confirmation that by the end of August it will be permanently terminated. In August I got a call from a law firm saying I owe Nashua a few hundreds which I told the person that called that I did make a payment and sent the proof to him. In September the same law firm (HAMMONDS POLE) called me again asking me to make a payment as legal steps have been taken against me by Nashua, told the lady the same story that I had made a payment & my account has been closed, sent them the proof of payment and confirmation that my account has been terminated along with the proof of payment. Then I called Nashua telling them to stop harassing me with their lawyers which they promised they would. To my surprise again this month I got another call with all these threats and I am tired of this. I sent them an email asking them to stop. Is this how I'm going to be living from month to month explaining the same story?
