SHOCKING SERVICE FOR LOYAL CUSTOMER

My husband has had a contract with MTN since he's ever owned a cell phone and spends an average of R1700 monthly with them. He has an extremely problematic Blackberry and has tried everything to sort it without having to send it in for repair as he cannot function without a phone as his business takes him out of the office and into rural areas regularly. He has requested an early upgrade, based on his monthly spend, to no avail. He decided as a last resort to purchase an inexpensive phone and get MTN to transfer his contacts to this phone so that he could get them to send the Blackberry in for repairs and at least have a record of the repair so that he may possibly have some luck with getting an early upgrade. When the transfer of contacts was not done successfully (some important contacts were missing although he had been assured that ALL his contacts, from the phone and his SIM had been transferred) he went back to ask them to do it again and was told that he was being unreasonable and that there is nothing more that they will do for him. He is now on his way to a Blackberry shop in Hayfields, Pietermaritzburg, to see if they can provide any better service or assistance.
