Time to say goodbye to MTN. I have reported and posted a complaint on Hello Peter after various difficulties. Nomonde has phoned with another ref nr: 2725714. My sim was "old" and I had to buy a new sim and MTN would contact me to visit checking signal strength. Another which never happened as expected and the complaint was in fact never resolved, R130 later for the sim. What are my options: To simply stop paying for the non existing service, carry on paying for another year? The one thing which is for sure is that I will warn everybody that I come accross to stay away from MTN as far as possible. The problem is that once you have signed the contract, you cannot get out of it, irrespective if you get a service or not. If you phone a call centre, you are not allowed to speak to any senior person and no one wants to accept any responsibility. If you insist you get put on hold for long periods of time until you get cut off or until the coverage dept close at 17h00. Supervisors and Co-Ordinators are not available. I will drive 400 km to the nearest Vodacom/Telkom Shop on the weekend because at least they are providing a service. I am sending this message from a Vodacom sim.
