Mira Networks
FROM MY CELL C ACCOUNT

Telecommunications

Mira Networks has subscribed me in a very underhanded way to one of their "services "Flexyville". I received an sms a few months ago inviting me to chat on Flexyville. When I clicked on the link I was taken to some site inviting me to "chat" with a woman unknown to me. Although I ignored all further invitations (and never visited their website again) I now learn that Mira Networks have been charging my Cell C account with R7 per day (!!!) for a service I have never used and certainly did not subscribe for. This is a most devious and underhanded way of milking charges from unsuspecting people. I challenge Mira to demonstrate how clicking on a new invitation once and once only constitutes a legally binding subscription to a service. Can Mira demonstrate that I requested the invitation in the first place? Can Mira show how I have been using their service on a daily basis for the past 3 months. This amounts to nothing less than which relies on people not checking their itemised billing statements!
