I have been a Vodacom client for a long time and never had this kind of misfortune
I had two top up contracts with Vodacom and never had a billing problem whatsoever
I recently took another line on smart s package iPhone 5
Literally 3 days later my bill was running on R400 something
I immediately called Vodacom to inform them and I was advised to switch off some of my apps on the phone and data itself, I was advised That every time I was not on the internet I must switch off data
I did as I was advised but the problem continued, every time my bill went up
I called until a query was loged for investigation, they came back to me and said it's my problem
However since I have been a good paying client they are prepared to credit me with R2692.96 as a once-off goodwill from Vodacom .i am still waiting today that was on the 03 sep 13.everytime I call I get different stories and people promising to investigate n get back to me.all the document sent to me gave been signed n faxed back to Vodacom I even got a confirmation that they were received.i am pleading with Vodacom to get back to me with answers I need this mess out if my life.
