I requested a sim swap on my prepaid number last week Thursday, calling the call centre 3 times and the agents told me they'll escalate the call with IT. Then Friday i called again and Thando pootona told me the sim swap went through and that i must rica my number, which i've never done with my previous sim swaps. She then told me no call was escalated, whereas the 3rd agent i spoke to the previous day said it was escalated by the first agent i spoke to when requesting. Then she told me she is about to knock off and will put me through a team leader Lesley Mothapo. This lesley guy didn't sound like a team leader because he didn't know what he was saying and told me to wait 48 hours. I adviced them i can't wait that long as i need to use my phone for my banking and he gave me attitude.
So its been 6days since i requested for help and nobody can help me! I've been calling custoner care but no answer! I am tired of always having to threaten agents about reporting on Hello Peter inorder for them to assist. When will Virgin Mobile hire dedicated people who know exactly what they are doing?
Its sad to be told 5 different stories by different agents including a team leader yet no help.
