On account - not being dealt with and closed

I received a sms about a year ago, stating that my MTN account has been handed over to attorneys and that R10000 would be deducted from my account. The funds did not go through, thankfully. I queried this at the Cavendish MTN branch and logged a case with them. I also handed in a affadavit with a case number. I thought this was sorted however, this year i received numerous calls from the attorneys as well as sms and each time the amount due increases - the last amount was for R28514.76. I contacted MTN head office stating that i have never had an MTN account and that this is a transaction. I sent through the case number and another affadavit to them. They then sent a letter confirming that the account is, that they apologise for the inconvenience and that the matter will be closed with the relevant collecting attorneys. To be 100% sure i emailed the documents several times to the attorneys requesting them to close the matter and have to date not received a response. Much to my frustration i have received yet another sms requeting the final demand from the attorneys. My credit record has/will be affected by either MTN or attorney's incompetence
