Incorrect upgrade & billing, now I get a bad name!

I am very disappointed as a 10 year long customer of Autopage!
I upgraded a voice to data line & had to wait before using it as the cellular network allows for upgrades 4 months prior to the end of a 2 year contract, so I could only use it from 11 August as per the consultant that did the upgrade.
I started using it on 13 August, got an sms on the 14th stating that my account is very high, it will be locked & I should contact the accounts department.
As per the person I then phoned, the upgrade from voice to data was not even allowed by the cellular network, yet the branch did it as they were either not aware of this, or it was instated after the upgrade was done. It even showed on MyAccount online that I am on the new package.
I contacted Autopage on numerous occasions since 14 August. I eventually had to stop the debit order as the issue had not been dealt with appropriately or to the best of my interest as THE CUSTOMER.
Today an SMS states the credit is completed & I should contact them. I did so & was told to pay the full R2026.84 incl. overcharge of R1268.84 or I will reflect as a slow payer on ITC!
This was not my mistake & now I have to pay for this PROBLEM AUTOPAGE CREATED!
